The property features a gently-sloping sandy beach, deep water swimming, a boathouse with electric boat lift, generous dock space, a canoe, horseshoe pits, and a lakeside fire ring and seating area. The lawn is perfect for enjoying lakeside games of bocce, badminton, croquet , volleyball and horseshoes (all available) as well as sunbathing, lawn parties and just enjoying a quiet moment by the lake.
Chateau du Lac is appointed with upgraded features and fixtures not found in typical vacation rental homes. Each room features substantial windows affording spectacular views of the lake and plenty of natural light throughout. The main floor boasts a spacious two-story Great Room, a large gourmet kitchen with island bar, dining room, massive pantry, laundry room and a full master bedroom. The professional-style kitchen features expansive granite countertops, premium appliances, extensive storage space and an adjacent breakfast patio with gas grill.
All four lakeside bedrooms (2 king-size masters and 2 queens) are tastefully furnished and decorated and feature flat screen TVs. A 5th 2-twin BR is also available as well as other trundle bed and pull-out bed options in the recreation room. Big screen TVs are found in the Great Room and in the lake-level recreation room which features a full-size bar with kitchenette, lake view dining area, regulation pool table, sitting area and walk-out patio with plenty of outdoor dining space.
Finally, this home features a stand-alone home theater – complete with a 7-channel Surround Sound system that must be experienced to be believed – is available for the movie and sports enthusiasts in your group! We have appointed our home with everything we can think of to make you feel welcome and able to enjoy your Lake Anna experience upon arrival, including: ready-made beds, bath and beach towels, dishwashing products, cleaning supplies, kitchen towels, paper products, spices, bath soaps, shampoo, lotions, etc.
